Basic Info
Bio

This is a character journal for Mouse in the LJ 'Tribe' RPG, [info]the_mall . I am not Jacinta Wawatai and I do not claim ownership of any of the characters of The Tribe. All characters involved in this journal are the property of Cloud 9.

The following Bio was written by [info]_salene_ with the help of Tribe World and Tribal Digest specifically for [info]tribal_mouse in accordance with the LJ RPG [info]the_mall only. In Game Information is written as an update on what has happened in our game since the end of their S4. This has not happened on the show, we do not mean to imply that it could happen, and we do not mean any offense to the writers/creators/owners of The Tribe or Cloud 9, this is simply our version of an S5.

::The Life of A Mouse::

::Pre Virus::

Jaclyn Hautonga was motherly from the start, she always carried around her "babies" as a child, longing to have them come to life so she could have her own living doll. She came from a large family, the middle child of the 3 middle children of 9 kids, she loved helping to take care of the kids that were younger than she, she loved their innocence, the fact that they would always tell you how things were, not how you wanted them to be.

Jaclyn and her siblings missed out on affection from their parents, their father was a busy farmer, working hard from dawn to dusk to feed and clothe his ever expanding family. Their Mother was so busy washing and cooking and helping with the animals and farm chores that she didn't always have a lot of time left over for family bonding moments and playtime. They adored their children, and they showed their love through providing for them and teaeching them responsibility, rather than by showing them open affection.

Life on the farm was hard, the girls were expected to help in the house, washing, cooking, cleaning, watching after the small children, and some barn work from time to time was not unheard of. The boys were left to do the hard work, sowing the crops, working the fields, chopping the wood, making repairs, and so on. Jaclyn often got left with the small children to tag after, and that suited her just fine, and life was simple.

When she was a teen, she got a job at a local diner to help her family out financially, to buy herself things they could not otherwise afford, and to get away from the farm life for a few hours. It was here that Pete came into her life, a boy Jaclyn had never paid attention to in school now became a whirlwind romance. Once finished with school they settled down and got married, moving into a small house in the city that Pete's grandfather had left him. Jaclyn was happy in her marriage, but she missed her lively brothers and sisters, as the city was a world away from the village where she had grown up.

Longing for children, it was only a couple of years before they had their first child, a boy they named Charlie. Jaclyn was overjoyed and soaked up every moment with her baby, and was surprised to find herself pregnant again only 6 months after the birth of Charlie, but this was what she'd been waiting for all of her life, she had a little family that she could shower with affection, everything was perfect. Perfect, until the day Pete was driving home from work on a very rainy night and had a horrible accident, dying upon impact.

Jaclyn's whole world seemed to fall apart, left with two small children and no family nearby to help. She tried to do the best that she could to provide for her kids, relying on her upbringing that left her with strength to do what was required, to work hard and take responsibility. She never ever forgot to give them the affection that she missed so dearly as a child, but she felt as if the loss of Pete meant that her life, and that of her children's, could never be the same. He had been her soulmate, her one true love, and the only father of her children. No one would ever replace him in her heart.

Growing up, Charlie and Mouse learned to rely on each other as their Mother was busy with work a lot of the time, and they developed a bond so strong that they could feel what each other was thinking and feeling without even having to speak. They were so close in age, people often mistook them for twins.

Jaclyn became more and more depressed as time went on, becoming sick and worn thin until she crawled into bed one night and just never got out again. Charlie became concerned, he'd never seen his Mother that sick, and he'd never seen her not go to work. He ran next door and got Mrs. Shaverson, and she looked sick too, older than he remembered, but when she came over to their house, and saw his mother with the gray hair and pale complexion, she called the doctor and sent the kids to run out and play. The doctor confirmed Mrs. Shaverson's worst fears, Jaclyn had the Virus. Charlie and Mouse returned when they noticed the doctor leaving, their little fists full of wildflowers, and the vibrant coulors and sweet scent of the bouquet reminded their mother of the farm, of her family, and of a solution.

Charlie and Mouse were told to pack their bags, they were being sent to the next village to live with their Aunt Abigail and Uncle Victor, her little brother. They clung to their mother, begging her not to send them away, but she had to, she knew she had to, and they were too young to understand. She told them the truth, she didn't have much longer to live and she wanted them to go live somewhere happy, somewhere that they wouldn't have to watch their mother wither away. She held them close and told them she loved them, and she told them to watch after each other, always, and to remember that although time and distance would soon separate them from her, the bonds of love would unite them together. Forever.

Aunt Abigail and Uncle Victor were really nice to Mouse and Charlie, too nice, they always wanted to know where they were, where they were going, they read them stories at bedtime and made sure they ate their vegetables. Charlie and Mouse enjoyed the attention for a while as they had been starved for it since their mother had always been so busy, and they definitely enjoyed Abi's cooking. Their mom hadn't been able to cook for them for a while and they were used to eating a lot of bread and tins of beans and fruit. Fresh meat and veggies were great, and the desserts! Heaps of sponge cake and apple pie, ice cream and fruit tarts. They hadn't eaten so well in months.

There were a lot of cousins to keep them company, running around, through the fields and making camps, hiding in the treet house when it was bedtime, and they all had a great time together. After a while, Mouse started to get a bit sick of all of the attention and ruckus, she had been so used to doing things her own way, what she wanted when she wanted, that she was finding it hard to share her time, and her Charlie, with everyone else.

Mouse started to spend more and more time hiding in the treehouse and keeping the door locked tight so that she could have quiet space to herself. The only person she let in was Charlie and soon they were back to their old routine, as he had missed her too, and now they were together again, after all, they only needed each other.

The cousins would head off to school every morning, but Charlie and Mouse were only 3 1/2 and 4, and they didn't go to school, instead, they'd head off into the countryside, spending hours fishing or chasing rabbits, gathering wildflowers or dancing in the tall grasses. They'd go back to the tree house and lock the door, Charlie only leaving to sneak food from the kitchen and head right back up, enjoying their cold leftovers for supper. The cousins eventually got tired of trying to get into the treehouse, or trying to make friends with Mouse and Charlie, and left them pretty much on their own.

Abi and Vic were becoming weary, and angry, with the behavior of their neice and nephew, and first they took away the treehouse, pulling the boards from the trunk of the tree and confining them to their room. As soon as the door was shut, however, Charlie would climb out of the window and help Mouse out, and off they would run, playing in the countryside. They hated living there, they hated most of all being confined to a room and being forced to change who they were inside.

It was Charlie who first noticed that Abi was beginning to behave as their Mother had, taking to bed, looking really old, and they knew things would soon become worse. Vic no longer had the energy to go chasing after them, he was slowing down himself as he spent every second he could looking after his sick wife and making arrangements for his children. Charlie knew what he had to do, and one night, late into the night, he woke up, packed what he could carry on his back, and woke up the sleeping Mouse, helping her climb out of the window. He knew Mouse felt the same way, they loved their Aunt and Uncle, even if they hated their way of life, and they couldn't bear to watch them wither away to nothing like their Mother had.

::After The Virus::

Mouse and Charlie moved into the city, soon finding that they hated it there as well, they wanted to be back in their old stomping ground, the countryside, where they felt comfortable, safe. The streets were very different from to how they remembered them, it was amazing how just a few months had changed things so much. All of the adults were gone, only groups of children wandered around, some looking pretty terrifying in their costumes and makeup, some even had strangely wild eyes, and some were driving around the streets, screeching around corners and smashing into poles and buildings.

Other kids were quiet, and scared, trying to keep out of the way, trying to find somewhere safe to go, somewhere warm to sleep, somewhere they could get food. Most of the shops had been looted, however, and food was scarce, at least, fresh food, there were tins left, things that nobody had wanted to eat until that's all that was left. Mouse and Charlie found themselves eating tinned sardines and beetroot for a couple of nights.

Charlie, though young, was resourceful, as was Mouse, and he knew he had to find them a place to sleep, somewhere safe, and the first place he could think of was their old home. Everywhere they turned, tried to go, they were blocked by crazy guys on roller blades shouting Power and Chaos! Charlie soon found a place in a park where there were some other kids sleeping under boxes and on benches. Luckily it wasn't too cold and Mouse and Charlie soon fell asleep, curled up together under a piece of cardboard on the grass, too tired to care. They were jolted awake by the sound of chanting and they sat up groggily rubbing at their eyes, jumping as someone grabbed them by the collars and told them to run!

After what seemed like an endless morning of running between buildings, hiding behind boxes and rummaging through littered stores, Mouse and Charlie settled down for another cold meal of tinned food with the boy who had helped them to run.

Gareth was big for his age, he was only 14 but he was super tall and very bulky. Although he was tough, he was an alright kind of guy, and he said that he would help Mouse and Charlie, if they'd help him. They'd work together, going into the stores and findign things he could trade, and he, in return, would find them somewhere safe to sleep, and food to eat. Charlie and Mouse decided that they had no choice but to do what Gareth watned, he looked far too tough to cross anyway, and at least he knew his way around the inner sectors of the city. He had, after all, kept them safe from those crazy kids.

Things went well for quite some time, Gareth wasn't as bad as Mouse and Charlie thought he might be, and they worked well together. Things had to be taken in this new world to trade, and they knew they had to take to survive, there was no other choice.

Gareth built a Tribe of his own, which he named The Fleas, mostly of kids smaller than himself, and he spent most of his time holed up in their headquarters, the business offices of the old slaughter house. He'd send some kids out to loot and find things to trade, others out to trade the things, and others still to find more kids. It was soon apparent that they'd become his slaves, he wouldn't feed them if they came home empty handed, making them sleep outside in the alley next to the factory instead, giving the kids that had "Done their jobs properly!" warm meals, cooked by other Tribe members, and warm beds to sleep in.

He had a loud voice that scared Mouse, and he often lashed out at Charlie for defending Mouse, beating both of them for the smallest of mistakes, sometimes punishing them even though they'd found things to trade, becoming angrier, and surlier, and one night Charlie had enough, he could no longer stand the tears of his little sister, and he vowed to get them out of there. Grabbing her hand and leaving behind all they had stashed away in the factory, Charlie and Mouse ran away, outrunning a couple of kids that had been sent after them, and hiding behind a dumpster.

Once things were safe, Charlie and Mouse walked all the way to the otherside of the city, as far away from Flea stomping grounds as they could get, and using the knowledge they'd gained while living as a slave to Gareth, Charlie kept them fed, stealing whatever he had to steal to survive. All they wanted was a mother, especially after Mouse got sick, Charlie wished and wished for someone to come and care for them, to love them, someone to make Mouse better. He feared she was dying like the adults had died, like the Mother they couldn't remember anymore, like the family they'd lived with after that, whom they also couldn't really remember any longer. Charlie wanted to find them a Mother they could remember, someone to take care of them and to make Mouse better, he hated to leave her even for the smallest amount of time, though he knew he had to keep her alive by feeding her and getting her as much water as he could.

It was one afternoon, soon after they'd escaped the Techno's that'd been chasing them, when Charlie left Mouse to find food, returning to find a woman with bright red hair and a furry blue coat talking to her, feeling her forehead, and then Mouse got up and went with her. Charlie followed, all the way back to [info]the_mall, where he and Mouse got to know this person, [info]_salene_, as well as what was left of her Tribe, The Mall Rats. They soon became close to Pride, [info]_cloe_, and [info]tribal_ellie, and got to know other Mall Rats, like, [info]sheriff_lex, as well as other people, [info]tribe_dee, and [info]_ebony_.

Life in the Mall was, different, for the first time people didn't expect them to steal, in fact, they frowned upon it, and yelled at them for it. Especially grumpy Lex, he called them "wild animals" and threatened to throw them out. It was Salene who protected them, though they didn't yet understand why, thinking that maybe she wanted to keep them as her own slaves and no one else's. Mouse and Charlie wouldn't speak, they wouldn't even tell anyone their names, they were afraid, mostly because in the Fleas they'd gotten in trouble for talking, and Mouse was often put down by others for her name, Gareth had taken great pride in putting her down and threatening to find a cat to eat her.

Usually it was Salene who would look after them, sometimes Pride helped, teaching them tricks like tying knots in rope, and sometimes Cloe looked after them, reading to them for a while, and keeping an eye on them. It was almost like having a family again! Only, this time, if they needed space, or quiet, there were a million more places to hide than in a treehouse, and people generally let them be quiet in a bed, leaving them to entertain themselves. No one chased them, no one yelled and made fun of them, and no one ever beat them.

Salene tried hard to get them to do things, eat certain food, clean their faces, change their filthy clothes and wash their dirty hair. At first, they rebelled, they didn't need her! They had each other, and they'd done just fine on their own! It was after biting her and finding out that she would do anything, even protect them from mean Lex, that Charlie and Mouse began to warm up to Salene. She had saved them, after all, healing Mouse from her sickness so that she hadn't died, and soon they found how loyal they were to her when she had a fight with Lex. They jumped up from their chairs and kicked him, defending Salene until Pride came in and made them all stop fighting. It was this day that Charlie and Mouse decided they liked living in the Mall, as well as being taken care of by Salene, and they liked others in the Mall, like Ellie, who would read to them, and Cloe, and Pride.

They noticed when Ellie stopped eating, she stopped reading to them, she didn't even like it when they tried to cheer her up by jumping on her bed and throwing things around, something that they both enjoyed quite a bit. They watched her leave one day, going out of the carpark door, and Charlie grabbed a loaf of bread, maybe she'd like a picnic! When they went out of the same doorway, they heard a door opening above them and slamming shut, and they realized Ellie was headed for the roof. Odd, but a rooftop picnic would be something new, and Ellie needed to eat, Charlie didn't want to see her waste away, this new family was going to stick together, it was his mission now. When they got to the roof, Ellie was standing on the edge of a walkway, and Mouse tugged at Charlie's sleeve, this wasn't good, surely she wasn't just out there getting fresh air? When Ellie noticed them, telling them to go away, Charlie knew that Ellie was going to jump, but she didn't have to, didn't she know they loved her and wanted her to eat? Holding the bread up, he said one word, "Eat," and it worked! Ellie walked back to them and took the bread, thanking them, making both Mouse and Charlie very happy.

Although people in the Mall soon found out that Charlie and Mouse could speak, they just hadn't, they still wouldn't tell them their names as Mouse was embarrassed. They were amused by Pride's suggestions, "Thunder and Lightning" or "Salt and Pepper", but their giggles quickly stopped when Salene decided that since they wouldn't tell her their names, she'd just give them new names, and settled on "Poo and Pong". Disgusted, Charlie and Mouse left, seeking out Ellie, knowing she'd never call them poo or pong. She soon introduced them to The Amulet, telling them that if she'd known about their slavery she would have written about it in The Amulet and let the whole City know. Salene followed after them, telling Ellie their new names, and much to the disgust of Mouse and Charlie, Ellie calls them Poo and Pong! They leave in a huff, stopping to talk quietly about telling their real names, Charlie doesn't want to be known as Poo, or Pong! But Mouse insisted, anything was better than her real name!

The next day, while observing quietly the way of the Mall Rat, Mouse and Charlie began to wonder if Salene and Pride weren't married, and if they weren't, why not? They found out from Ellie that Lex had a wife, Tai-San, and she used to patch his shirts, giving Charlie a bright idea. He led Mouse to Pride's room, pulling his shirt off of the rack and tearing a hole in both elbows, if Salene would patch the shirt, well then, surely she and Pride were married! The plan backfired slightly when Salene refuses, telling them she doesn't mend things for people she doesn't know the name of, and Mouse points out that it's Pride's shirt. Salene became wary, telling them she wasn't good at sewing and that Pride wouldn't appreciate her patchwork, but Charlie promised that if she'd do it, he'd tell her their names. Salene agreed, and even though Mouse protested right up to the end, Charlie let it slip.
"I'm Charlie, and this is--"
"Please don't do it Charlie!"
"What Mouse, they've got to find out eventually!"

Still embarrassed by her name, Mouse insisted that it was a stupid name, cringing at the fact that Salene now knew. Salene, however, begged to differ.
"You never heard of the story where the mouse roared at the lion and scared it away?"
"A mouse did that?"
"You bet! Charlie and Mouse, now those are two real names!"

Pleased with this, Mouse and Charlie almost felt relief, not just because they didn't have to hide their names anymore, but because now they wouldn't be called Poo or Pong either!

It was with the incarceration of Ellie for trying to blow up Ebony, that Mouse and Charlie soon fell back into their old ways. Salene had packed a basket of food, meager in many ways, it was all that they had to spare. Mouse and Charlie, remembering their old ways, decided that one last time, just for now, to help a friend survive, they would have to steal again. Taking Lex's crystal to the apple vendor down the market, they stole 5 apples, getting away before he could catch them. They ran straight for Techno Headquarters, arriving just in time to give Ellie the bag of apples and say good-bye, watching sadly as they shipped her off to a work camp. Helping Ellie doesn't spare them, however, from a lecture from Pride telling them to stay away from the Technos and to never steal again!

The next day, Mouse awoke to find the other half of her bed empty and Charlie nowhere to be found. She searched for him, high and low, but never found him. Cloe quickly took her mind off of things with a game of blind mans bluff, and it was only when left alone that Mouse felt the lonliness creeping in, the sadness over the fact that he'd left without telling her, something that was very odd about Charlie. When she heard a scrambling in her room, she hopped down, "Charlie? Is that you?" To her surprise, she'd found a mouse! She captured him, and named him "Charlie", putting him on the Cafe table under a bowl and watching him. The mouse takes her mind off of her brother for a split second, but nothing can ease the pain of missing him.

Mouse liked her pet, Charlie the mouse, but Pride convinced her to let him go, telling her that the mouse would rather live a free life than live confined to his new home, the old candy jar, though he makes sure to poke some holes into the lid for Charliemouse. When Salene made plans to visit the countryside with Pride, Mouse wanted to go, to set Charlie free, and because something drew her to the word "countryside". Salene refused, telling her to stay, and Mouse accuses Salene of just wanting to kiss Pride. When they left, Mouse snuck out after them, keeping her distance, using what she remembered from being a theiving slave to follow silently, unseen. When they stopped to rest and began kissing, Mouse jumped out to surprise them, exclaiming, "Ew kissing? That's so gross!!" Together they released Charlie the mouse and headed home, to the Mall, to make Lex a remedy for his toothache. It doesn't work, and it doesn't make him any less grumpy either, much to the dismay of Mouse.

After a while, Mouse gives up on her brother Charlie coming back, she knew the Technos had taken him, but the pain of accepting this was much relieved by finding a new friend at the power switch on, a kid with orange and blue hair named [info]tribal_sammy. Bringing him home with her to the Mall to try out all of the cool electric things laying around, Mouse and Sammy began to plug many different appliances and electrical equipment. When Sammy finally threw the switch, nothing happened other than a few sparks, and they ran off to find someone who knew about these things. When they return, however, everything is on fire, and they call for help. Salene and Pride run to the rescue, putting the fire out with a fire extinguisher. It is then that Mouse, and Sammy, get to meet [info]mother_trudy, who has returned after almost being captured by Technos, begging what's left of the Mall Rats to help her, as [info]amber_warning has been taken prisoner.

Life in the Mall was exciting from that point for Mouse and Sammy, watching scary movies, trading all of their useless electronic kitchen appliances for a dishwasher, even though they end up baking the food on due to not realizing it had to be hooked up to the mains water supply, which they don't have, and playing games with Cloe, like, virt cert, from the roof with smelly old Lily of the Valley lotion.

Mouse and Salene began to get closer, gaining a mother/daughter bond that became stronger every day. Mouse really loved being taken care of by Salene, especially when bad things happened, like the time she played skunk in the cup and fell off of the bed, and Salene patched her up with a plaster and a hug, or the various times Mouse became scared because of the Techno battles and Salene was always there to reassure her and give her hugs.

It was with the introduction of CityNet that life around the Mall really began to change. Sammy and Mouse instantly became addicted to watching, waiting for this exciting new development to entertain them in ways they had yet to imagine. It began slowly with the Gladiator fights, their very own Lex as the star, to CityNet news broadcasts, first using the Techno's and eventually their own Mall Rats, like Dee, and Salene. The advent of CityNet brought [info]tribe_patch into life at the Mall, first helping to try and cause destruction to CityNet and then becoming the resident doctor along with helping around the Mall, often keeping an eye on Mouse and Sammy along with [info]_siva_.

Mouse joined Sammy when The Game went public, getting scanned in, against Salene's wishes and even despite the fact that Pride became addicted and sick at the hands of the Technos. It was because of this game that they met [info]tribal_may but lost Cloe, and Mouse and Sammy were often asked by [info]ved to look for Cloe in the game. When the game became "No Pay, No Play," Mouse joined Sammy in shovelling coal at the local power plant to earn credits to play the game. A series of unfortunate events, being beaten up for her credits, being constantly reprimanded by Salene for playing, watching how sick it makes Pride, having both May and Pride shoot her in the game, as well as watching, horrified, as a group of [info]_stingrays_ bust into the mall in search of [info]general_jay and almost hold everyone hostage until Siva saved the day, all of it finally turns Mouse off of the Game. She turned to art and reading instead, drawing pictures for Salene and teaching herself to read with the help of Salene and Siva and Dee. When Sammy called her a chicken because she wouldn't play, she told him of her life before the Mall, how she and her brother were slaves and how they were chased by their Tribe, people shouldn't be chased! It was seeing people chasing Jay for real that scared her, and she no longer wanted to pretend to chase people either.

Mouse began to take a deep interest in learning to read, despite the fact that Sammy called it stupid, and asked anyone and everyone if they could read and would they teach her? She enjoyed the quiet of a Gameless life, until the next big thing comes out: Paradise. Sammy was instantly hooked, and even tried to get Mouse to take part in it, but she found it to be horrible, all of those lovely things she couldn't really have! It was like torturing her! Sammy wasn't as easily put off, but Mouse was done with reality space, and that was that!

Mouse soon gained a new friend after the Techno's raided the Eco camp and take [info]_brady_, returning her to the Mall later thanks to a few inside friends. Mouse helped take care of Brady, staying with her when Trudy was busy, when no one else could look after her, and she didn't mind so much, it was nice to have someone to play with who wasn't always only thinking of their next Paradise fix. Brady also helped keep Mouse's mind off of the final Techno battle, one which Mouse was terrified would finally take away her happy family for good.

::In Game Information::

Life got back to normal shortly after the final Techno battle, however, and everyone had survived, only now, many many old Mall Rats, new people to Mouse, were coming back as the camps and mines fell and people began their long treks home. Cloe, [info]_bray_, [info]tribal_danni, Ellie, [info]_jack_, [info]_patsy_, [info]_tai_san_, [info]tribal_alice, [info]_kc, and [info]luke_ all came back from their Techno worlds, and the Mall began to get quite full. For Mouse, most of her time was spent with Cloe, Patsy, Salene, Pride, Brady, and new comer [info]gel413, and life was fun. There were times when things got tense, and Cloe, missing her friend Patsy and getting a bump to her head after falling from the second floor, began to accuse Mouse of being Chosen, fighting with her. It was during one of these fights that Salene was abducted right out of the Mall, and later they'd come to find out that Bray was taken as well.

The New Order of The Chosen began to make life in the Mall awful once more, holding them in their fear as they began to take Mall Rats one by one, first Mouse, then Braby, and even Siva, holding them captive in their large converted house, deep in the woods, Salene and Bray nearby locked in a deep dark pit. Mouse was kept in a nursery with the baby and Siva, and it was here that she first met [info]_dax, originally one of her captors, Dax held Mouse over the pit Salene was being held in so that his boss, Charles, could use her to convince Salene to join their side and do as he was asking of her. On the way back into the house, Mouse charmed Dax, convincing him that what he was doing was wrong, that he could leave, that the Mall Rats would come and save them and that he could come with them, if he'd only do the right thing! Dax was easily persuaded, he'd never meant to harm anyone and had long ago begun wishing for a way out. When the Mall Rats arrived, first Gel, Cloe, and Patsy led by May, then Lex, and the surprise arrival of [info]tribal_ryan who had heard they were holding Salene and her daughter hostage, her daughter whom he assumed was his child, Dax fought alongside them to help them liberate Siva and Braby, leading them along with Mouse back to Salene, Patsy, and Gel in the safety of the woods, as May, Cloe, Bray, Lex, and Ryan moved into the house to finish off Charles and The Guardian.

Once back at the Mall they learned that Pride had gone back to the Eco's along with Amber and Danni to try and get help, and though Salene sent for Pride, he would not return. Pride found out through a letter Salene wrote him that Ryan was back and because of that he chose to stay with the Eco's, breaking up with Salene and saying nothing to Mouse and Sammy. Mouse was deeply hurt by this, missing the man who'd been like a father to her, and resenting Ryan for trying to replace him, taking his place back in Salene's life, a place Mouse didn't know he even had! It's been a long hard road, but Mouse and Ryan made peace shortly before the arrival of his 6 kids, [info]tribal_kerry, [info]tribal_anna, [info]tribal_macy, [info]tribal_willow, [info]tribal_tatty, and [info]tribal_flower.

Mouse is trying to get used to the busy life of the Mall, it was so quiet before, when the Techno's were in charge, and now it's as if a new person arrives everyday, some in the strangest of circumstances. Mouse is glad to have Brady, and sometimes even Sammy, though he's still going through withdrawal and being quite grumpy. She misses Pride and wishes he'd write, she doesn't understand why he doesn't even want to talk to her, fearing that he hates her or that she's done something wrong, even though Salene constantly tells her this is not true. She's begun to make friends with Ryan's kids, at least, some of them, and though she still has times when the stress and emotion of her kidnapping and the overwhelming arrival of what she sees as opponents against her for Salene's time and love get to her, Mouse is happy, busy, and loved.
